Like the reviews are what get most people into considering a new game, shows the game play and other small information. Ways to capture the viewers attention is new released game titles or expansions. The magazine to the right is "Macfreak" focuses more on mac users and things to grasp the readers attention would be like merchandise like the iPod, Mac computers, also Mac is capitalized a lot and in bold font to notice those key words first. The colors seem pretty bright and noticeable, also how they word their sentences and put down what people want to read.
